Bistrot Le Fauchon (2010-01-30)
After three years, Bistrot Le Fauchon's menu hasn't changed much. We had our last dinner there with KL's sister and niece because they requested western food.
A three-course dinner costs HK$188/US$23 and a four-course
HK$208/US$26. The dishes I chose were not as impressive as last
time: salad was okay, the "Roasted Baby Pork" was a very dry, hard and
salty piece of ham steak although I did enjoy the piping hot baked
apple tart very
much. KL's ribeye steak was however unexpectedly delicious full
of beefy
flavor and cooked to his order.
Overall speaking, it's still a worthwhile restaurant if you hanker
for affordable western food or as a "plan B" option.
