Kam Shan Seafood Restaurant, Yee Shun Milk Company (2011-05-03)
It was great to see Serlina and David after two years, especially when it was over delicious food.Kam Shan is well-known for their reasonably-priced seafood and "Won
Ying" chicken. Since David once said chicken is his favorite
food,
we arranged them to have dinner there.
Food was great, I particularly loved that chicken's deep flavor,
texture, and crunchy skin. I didn't jot down the cost of each
dish, but total including service charge and tip came down to
HK$130/US$16 per person.
For dessert (always eat dessert in Hong Kong!), they suggested a
shop in Mongkok but KL didn't want to travel that late at night (we're
not night owls), so we walked along Nathan Road towards Yau Ma Tei
hoping to come by any dessert shop.
We stumbled upon Yee Shun, a famous shop known for their steamed egg
custard. Without hesitation, we decided to eat there and the
custard was indeed very silky and smooth.
