Bali Thai Restaurant (2004-12-10)
My girlfriend and I went lunching in Ginza (
) last
week. She found a cheap buffet restaurant there and wanted to try
it out. The restaurant is called Bali Thai situated on the second
floor of INZ 2, one of three very prominent retail buildings on Sotobori-dori street.
It serves mostly salad with just a couple of meat dishes. The
food was generally very low-fat even though there was
some deep-fried fish and meatballs smothered in cream
sauce among various salads and vegies. The charge per person is only US$12, which is incredible value in
expensive Ginza. I enjoyed my meal very much but I think my
friend would prefer somewhere that served a little more meat
dishes. I have the feeling she won't want to go back anymore.
After lunch we strolled around Ginza to see how rich women spend
their afternoon shopping or having coffee in sidewalk cafes.
While they showed off their expensive clothes and accessories, we
critiqued them. It was a nice day out for eveybody.
