Yuen Kee Resaturant, Welcome Drinks (2015-02-07)

This seems to happen to us a lot: discovering a yummy restaurant on the very last day we leave a city which means there's no time for a second meal at the said restaurant.  Yuen Kee is a fine example.

We had time for lunch before leaving for the airport so we randomly picked Yuen Kee near the hotel.  We were going to have their well-known braised beef, but all our neighbors were having roast meat.  We succumbed to temptation and ordered Cantonese BBQ AGAIN, holy cow! (hangs head in shame)

Oh man, good thing we did.  Although the chicken and roast goose in my noodle set was puny, they were both excellent.  The chicken was full of chicken flavor and the goose was deelish!  I tried KL's roast pork (very crunchy skin) and goose leg (very tender and juicy), they were also yum yum yum.

Also included in today's pictures are the welcome drinks we had the Friday night before we left Hong Kong (we are procrastinators).  We had the drinks at Bistro on the Mile, their buffet restaurant.  The food on offer was mediocre to say the least.  I asked the manger the cost per person, he told me HK$578 plus 10%!!!  Are they out of their minds?!!
