Unusual Potatoes (2009-01-22)
Always a sucker for unusual or rare vegetables, I chanced upon some colored potatoes online. Though they're a lot more expensive than normal potatoes found in supermarkets, you just know we had to try them.
An order includes four different types of potatoes (purple, pink,
golden and white), 2kg of onions and a vegetable of choice from the
grower. To be honest, they don't taste any different from the
much cheaper danshoku Hokkaido (
)
potatoes widely available in the stores, but it is definitely more fun
eating them!
