Pret A Manger (2010-11-24)
Oct 6 Wednesday.
We needed an early lunch today. The tour guide from the
half-day city tour several days ago highly
recommended the sandwiches from Pret A Manger, a ubiquitous sandwich
chain.
There's one right across from our station, so we thought we'd give
it a try. Once again, so many choices, so little stomach
space!
KL's Crayfish sandwich was chockful of crayfish and delicious and my
Chicken Club was tasty too. They were a gazillion times better
than the rock hard and dry sandwich from Paul a few doors up the street.
I also highly recommend Pret A Manger when you feel like a sandwich.
After this early lunch, we packed up and checked out before noon to wait for our pick-up to St. Pancras Station for the Eurostar.
P.S. I notice that in London the same food costs less as takeaway than eat-in.
