Purity Laundry (2015-01-19)
Hong Kong was still very hot (25C felt like 30C to us) and muggy (humidity in the 90's) when we were there. We got all sweaty and yucky at the end of the day and washing dirty clothes was an inevitable chore nightly. KL hates handwashing clothes with a passion, and this is when Purity Laundry came to the rescue!
Deep inside Chungking Mansions two doors down from the hotel is a
coin-operated laundromet as well as Purity who does wet and dry
cleaning. You bring in your laundry in late morning, and it's usually
ready by mid afternoon unless they are really busy but you still get it
back the same day. Seven pounds of clothings for HK$30 is cheap too.
