A Slide In The Street (2005-03-02)
I was riding my bike to a shop in my neighborhood and spotted this slide right in the middle of a narrow street. What, the council can't possibly find a park or an open area to put it? I guess it just shows you how space is at a premium in Tokyo.
If there is one thing the parent of a child who plays in this slide cannot say to him/her, it will be: "Don't play on the street!".
