Obon Finished (2005-08-20)
KL has been telling me how the trains and streets look a bit less crowded than usual the past week during Obon. On the news a couple of nights ago, it was saying the rush home has started. Travelers are beginning to fill up highways and airports returning from their trip.
This year a reported 76 million Japanese travel within and outside
Japan, no wonder the trains were less crowded last week. Now that
everyone's back, we can all start cramming into crowded trains again,
just lovely.
