Delicious Roasted Pork Buns (2007-12-28)

A beautifully kneaded and risen dough just taken out from the bread machine

The dough is slightly punched out and divided into eighths

They are rolled into rounds

And let rest for 10 minutes

They “grew” in that 10 minutes

Each is flattened out

And stuffed with roast pork filling

Before being rolled into a ball again, which I fail to do

This is as round as it gets I'm afraid

The “balls” then go for a second rising

In 30C environment. I always do mine in my microwave/oven which has a dough-rising setting

After 40 minutes, they look like this

Each is brushed with beaten egg before baking

Fresh from the oven

Chasui Bun!!!
