Our Apartment (2004-06-25)
Three apartments out of five in the complex front the street
Glass bricks encase the balcony of our apartment
The world's smallest "front yard", two pots of eggplant growing at the far end
I'm growing bell peppers this summer. The grass, grown from fallen bird feed, is for Daifoo to snack on
My veggie garden corner with a grand total of two eggplant plants. A third one died the day it was transplanted into the pot
The tiny courtyard behind our apartment
Dining area, not quite a room
Staircase and hallway leading to the kitchen
Right side of the kitchen
Left side of the kitchen
Daifoo's dining area and toilet. I read that you shouldn't set the two areas too closely because cats don't like it. But what can you do in a small apartment? Even cats have to learn to adapt
Shoe cupboard at the entrance. The paper crane was a memento from a wedding KL once attended, the horse display is a gift from a Japanese friend, the framed picture of our other cat was a Christmas gift from my younger sister
Daifoo's water sports area (see June 11's entry)
The staircase landing
Thought you might want a closer look at it
Downstairs balcony and my number one favorite plant, orange jasmine
Upstairs balcony and my number two favorite plant, gardenia
Tatami room. But I covered the tatami to prevent Daifoo from using it as a giant downed scratching post
Entertainment center. The TV sits on its own box
My work station
"I feel so relaxed."
