Homemade Chilli Salt (2008-12-21)
The entire bag --49 chilies-- only cost 50Yen! (that's US 50 cents)
Long decent size
Of course they all get packed into a freezer bag
and get stored in the freezer
I used kosher salt (a cup) and two chilies for my chili salt
Bung both into the blender
After the chilies are all chopped up, the salt looks like this

I passed the salt through a sieve to get rid of the seeds and big pieces of chilies. If you are game, leave them in!
Chili salt, done!
