To Osaka From Haneda Airport, Hearton Hotel (2009-03-29)
This time we didn't use ABC to send our suitcase to the airport as they don't have round-trip service for Haneda customers, so we got Yamato (Kuroneko). I took this picture while the driver had to go move his truck because he blocked someone else' car
The day after Yamato picked up our suitcase, we got this membership card on a cute piece of paper in the mail
Airport bus ticket booth is located near the west exit of JR Shinjuku Station just outside Keio Department Store
The bus stop is across the road. 1200Yen to Haneda airport
Grabbed a really quick lunch at this Coffee Shop
My surprisingly tasty Ginger Pork Set 1100Yen/US$11
and not-so-tasty Fried Pork Set 1100Yen
The plane to Osaka was larger than I thought (10 seats across), and not full. We got the tickets free by using our mileage points, so the seats felt extra comfy, haha!
Getting tickets for the bus to Osaka Station
Our bus departed from Number 4 stop
Arriving at JR Osaka Station
We took this taxi to our hotel
Hearton Hotel
A western (left) and a Japanese (right) restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel
Reception
The area by the reception is deceptively big in this picture
A small area in front of the toilet
Small room
Bathroom
Fully stocked amenities
The room may be tiny, it has just about everything one needs including a mini hot plate, a humidifier and a fridge
even an air purifier
A cute little safe
Hearton Hotel was running scratch-n-win game till June 30 for all guests
I won this grocery bag
with a cooler lining
The hotel borders American Town which has shops catered for young people
selling loud clothing
Daimaru and Sogo are directly across the main road
Around the corner, there's an Apple store
Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade is just around the corner
