Hainanese Chicken Rice comes in a choice of steamed chicken or roasted chicken

Beautiful chicken, we chose both types

Traditional sauces for the chicken: chili, dark sweet soy and ginger. The soup was so delicious that I bought ginseng this trip hoping to recreate it at home

Oh SO YUMMY chicken, and deboned!

Steamed veggies (choi sum) had spring onions and fried shallots on top, an unnecessary addition in my opinion
