Self-medicating MT (2009-02-04)
Poor little MT is suffering from some kind of skin disease, her skin from the face all the way to beyond the neck is red and itchy. Every time she comes around for food, she scratches like mad.
I thought of taking her to the vet, but he's bound to run a barrage
of tests on her and the bill's gonna be huge. In these economic
hard times, we can't afford to do that, and besides, she being a stray,
may not appear everyday on the dot for whatever treatment and medicine
the vet prescribes.
But we can't just watch her rash fester, so we got an over-the-counter ointment for her from a pet store. I hope it works, but more importantly, I hope she continues to come to our apartment for her treatment.
