Aux Bacchanales (2008-09-30)
KL took me to a French bistro style restaurant called Aux Bacchanales for lunch. (Well, mostly because he wanted to try it out after walking past it many times)
Not that I have been to France, but I've seen many pictures bloggers
took eating at brasserie and cafe in Paris to recognize the resemblance
of Aux Bacchanales' French bistro atmosphere to the real thing.
The leather chairs, wooden floorboard, menu on chalk board, male
servers in black and white uniforms and the quintessential sidewalk
tables ooze bon jour!
The menu is small with mostly sandwiches and salads. It's not
the food you're after in such a restaurant, but rather the relaxing French atmosphere they offer.
