Cycling Part 1 (2004-09-09)
Ever since I got my spank new bike, I've been taking a ride on the paths by the stream near our apartment. On weekdays afternoon very few people or cyclists use the paths, which makes the ride so much more enjoyable. I usually cycle to the designated cycle path which is about twenty minutes from home, do a run, and return home. Sometimes I will keep going further down the stream to see what interesting pictures I can take.
I was really surprised to find a small lake along the way, it even
has a fountain in the center. The lush green vegetation
surrounding the lake soothes the summer heat and sweetens the
air. The whole environment also provides a haven for birds, ducks
and turtles.
And I thought Tokyo was a big concrete jungle. I couldn't have
been more wrong and I couldn't be more happy, and lucky.
