Koucho Dim Sum (2011-10-07)
A sucker for dim sum (even though deep down I know there's no such thing as authentic dim sum in Japan), my rationale gets the better of me every time I see big colorful ads selling Hong Kong style dim sum.
Koucho's website is so attractive, with bright and loud pictures,
and they are self-proclaimed champions who've won prizes for their dim
sum!
Well... I fell in their trap again. Although the roast pork
buns were soft and fluffy like the real thing, the filling was
wrong. The dumplings did fry up nice and crisp, so do the
Ajinomoto brand my local supermarket carries.
The rest of the set? SIGH...
