Restaurante Palatao (2012-04-09)
Day 7, 2/24
After checking out of Wynn, we left our bags with them while we went
to look for lunch. We took a taxi to Senado Square to save time
(but walked back to the hotel afterwards).
Near the "entrance" of the Square is a McDonald's which borders an alley shared by several Portuguese restaurants.
Restaurante Palatao was nearly full when we arrived just after
midday. Service was prompt and good and the food was great.
We wanted the clams but they weren't available that early so we opted
for the African Chicken which seemed to be a popular choice. It
was indeed very nice and went so well with steamed rice.
