My favorite ice cream brand is finally opening in Tokyo!
Ben & Jerry's ventured into the Japanese market by selling it in
7-11 several years ago, business flopped and they pulled out of the
country. This time
they are returning with a vengence, setting up the flagship Scoop Shop
store in Omotesando (
)and plan to open 30-50 shops in the next five
years. I hope they succeed this time.
I shall report back after we actually pay the shop a visit. We're waiting for the fever to die down a bit so we don't have to wait for an hour to get a scoop of friggin' ice cream.
