Grandberry Mall (2005-12-13)

There are several outlets in Japan but I've only been to two.  One of them is Grandberry Mall whose logo is a strawberry crossed with a raspberry.  The "mall" is not a mall at all.  It is an open space with walkways and streets lined with shops, most of which are selling merchandise at discounted prices.

I took KL there recently.  It was a beautiful day and people came out in droves to enjoy a day of shopping.  We saw many dog owners walking their pooches in the mall and quite a few were letting fellow shoppers pat their dogs.  The atmosphere was very happy and festive.

We didn't hang around too long in there as we are not big shoppers for things we don't need, and we couldn't think of anything we needed that day, not even a pair of socks.  But if you need to get some Christmas shopping done, take a Denentoshi subway line in Shibuya (kanji) and head over to Grandberry Mall in Minami-Machida (kanji) (kanji) now.
