Dessert In Hong Kong (2006-01-31)
There are so many dessert eateries in Hong Kong it is always difficult to pick which one to try. We stuck to the old favorite and had dessert at Jing Jing. They didn't disappoint us, we had wonderful Chinese sweet soup there. We also managed to eat at a chain store that makes all kinds of
mango dessert. KL's mango pudding was fabulous! The scoop
of ice on top of the pudding was made up of minute shavings of coconut
ice which melted as soon as they hit the tongue, and the coconut
taste was unmistakable but not overwhelming. Who'd have thought
mango could go so well with coconut?
If you love mango, you must not overlook that store. They are
ubiquitous, and the one we tried was in Mongkok.
