A Childhood Dish (2007-11-18)
Don't know what kind of fish this is but the meat has that right texture (sticky and not fishy) for stuffing things
To my surprise, its fillets yield small amount of meat
I had to thaw some scallops to make up for the volumne I needed for the peppers
Minced scallops and fish ready to be lightly seasoned with S&P, egg white, a few drops of sesame oil, wine and cornstarch
Peppers de-seeded and dusted with corn starch ready to be stuffed

A plate of delicious stuffed peppers. I only poured soy sauce on top for seasoning, other heavy sauces would mask the fresh seafood taste of the stuffing
We also had tomato and bean sprouts soup for dinner
