Breakfast At Viron (2010-06-24)
Ten minutes before it's open, a line already formed (I counted 38 people including us right at 9am when it opened)
Breakfast menu
Restaurant is on the second floor
A section of the fairly large dining room
Setting
Basket of baguette and multigrain bread
Each person can pick two items from the pastry basket
KL had chocolate croissant thingie (don't remember its name) and apricot thing
Cross-section of the chocolate thing
I had pain aux raisins and brioche au sucre
Flaky and crispy pastry
My pot of tea was very fruity
Sugar for the beverage
KL had four cups of coffee. That alone made up for the cost of the breakfast, haha!
A very happy server, and they don't even work for tips. Their professionalism is admirable
Our tray of confiture was a bit depleted
All the confitures are made in France
Honey spread
Diners are asked to put the confiture on their plate, not directly on the bread. I tried all of them: strawberry, raspberry, grape, peach, orange, apricot, chocolate and hazelnut, honey
Bread
Baguette and pastry basket by the cashier
First floor shop
My Brioche costs 231Yen/$2.5
I'd like to try their chocolate cake
They also sell other sweets such as meringues and cookies
and sandwiches
To get to Viron, cross the big intersection outside Shibuya Station and enters the street between the big TV screen and 109 building
Pass 109 building on the left
pass H&M on the right and Viron is across from Tokyu Department Store (not pictured)
