Memorable Dishes (2013-03-26)
Dinner at Sunny Harbour on first night in Sydney; one of the dishes was these steamed lobsters with garlic, yummy but a bit too garlicky
Blanched live prawns
Came all the way here
for their duck which was incredibly flavorful and tender and moist
One dish we didn't like much was this rack of spare rib baked in foil which was very greasy
I always have pho in Sydney
Fresh rice noodles are so great
Good Kitchen has the yummiest stirfried noodle dishes which are full of wok flavor
They also serve very good steamed rice rolls in their breakfast menu
Lunch in the food court at Miranda Westfield, I just love Turkish pide
Then afternoon churros at San Churro on the ground floor
A casual dinner at Palace Bistro in Hurstville RSL, food is cheap and cheery, not bad at all
Don't remember the name of the restaurant, but they serve the chewiest housemade noodles I ever had
Panfried pork buns. The restaurant is on Anzac Parade near Meeks Street
Took multiple trains with parents and his friends to Pymble (north Sydney)
mainly for this smoked duck dish
Delicious
Always a fan of this Shanghai dish (minced pork served with bread pockets)
Steamed pork dumplings
Sizzler salad
T-bone steak was shockingly good, it was juicy, smoky and flavorful
One of parents' friends treated us to a scrumptious dinner at Terrazas
Very delicious
Complimentary bitter melon jelly, it was bitter and sweet, unusual but quite nice
