Delicious egg balls
Boxed lunches sold at Hong Kong's 7-11
Our breakfast at the airport before boarding the plane to Tokyo:lemon tea, super soft chocolate chiffon cake, bbq pork bun and pineapple bun (with no pineapple whatsoever) from Maxim's. Next time we go back to HK, I want to eat tons of that chiffon cake. That's how good it was
Bread in bakery is all covered up, a better system than Japan's
The kind of breakfast I grew up eating: Congee, steamed rice rolls and fried dough. Heavenly combination
Typical breakfast: congee and noodles
Dragon Beard Candies

The dragon beard candy maker: Thank goodness for people like her
The mango pudding on lower right was just delicious with a lot of diced mangoes in it. Each is big enough to feed two and only cost about US$1.4, very good value
Pretty cakes and very inexpensive
We went to this dessert shop just for these:Glutinous rice balls filled with black sesame paste in ginger syrup
Shark's fin soup and braised duck
Delicious chocolate egg balls
Snacks not for me: innards
Look for this shop in Tsim Sha Tsui East which makes great tasting food and egg balls
Deep-fried fish balls, stuffed bell peppers, stuffed eggplants, stuffed tofu are absolutely delicious
Chinese BBQ: Chicken, suckling pig, roasted duck. Food to die for
Chicken bought from a BBQ restaurant for dinner one night. It's sooooo goooood
Typical side dish for breakfast:steamed rolls made of rice flour, eaten with a sweet sauce and toasted sesame seeds. I love it
HK bottled water is ergonomically designed
