Merry Christmas (2004-12-25)
For the sixth year in a row there will be no turkey on our dinner table. Serving turkey (or ham) is not part of Christmas here. You will have to search high and low to find these big birds in a store. And even if you are lucky enough to find one, it won't fit into your little Japanese-size oven.
Tonight I will be cooking a roast chicken, the next best thing under
the circumstance. Hope you enjoy your Christmas dinner as
much as we will.
