Din Tai Fung (2017-01-30)

Can't leave Taipei without at least one soup dumplings meal, right?  So Din Tai Fung it is for our last lunch in Taiwan.

We regretted not ordering "normal" pork dumplings and got the gourd and shrimp ones.  Although there's still plenty of soup inside the dumplings, they just lacked that flavorful meaty taste.

But I gotta say, I used to think Sydney had some excellent comparable soup dumplings, but those chefs at Din Tai Fung made the THINNEST dumpling skin I ever ate.  That's incredible skill.
