Love Is In The Air (2006-02-14)
Today's pictures are two weeks old. The three tom cats in our neighborhood have been hounding the only female cat in the area--Mama Cat-- since mid January. The cat calls and flirting were incredible last month. Sometimes we were awakened in the middle of the night by male cats fighting over the right to claim Mama Cat.
In a couple of months, we should see a litter of kittens from Mama Cat, sired by at least two of the three tom cats that I have witnessed.
Valentine's Day always comes early for all the lovesick felines in our neighborhood.
