Updates on Mama Cat (2006-03-22)
Thought I might give you the latest on Mama Cat. After all that courting and playing last January, she is set to be a momma again real soon. Her belly has gotten big and it is difficult for her to pass through the gap on the side of our balcony. She can no longer come and go to feed as she wants.
But cats are smart and excellent survivors. These days, to
solve her meal problem, she sits on the wall adjacent to our apartment
at exactly the spot parallel to our dining room window. When I
see her silouette behind the opague window, I'll open it and call her
name (Yeah, I've given her a name) to acknowledge her presence.
Then she will wobble to our
front door and wait for her food. As long as I am home, Mama Cat
doesn't go hungry.
