Spaying Neega (2007-01-17)
Mrs Y is so good! She took Neegau the semi-stray cat to the vet and had her spayed just recently. Although I offered to help with the cost, she would hear nothing of it. She's such a generous and kind-hearted person.Neegau came "home" after a successful operation and three days at
the vet. She's been staying at Mrs Y's house most of the time for
the time being(to make sure her wound heal properly), occasionally
being let out into the carpark to play with her brother.
Now that Neegau is spayed, and I give her annual vaccination,
regular worming and monthly Frontline (against fleas), that makes her
the most well-cared for "stray" cat I've known. In fact she's got
such an abundant food supply that she's become a chubby little
overweight cat. Although her brother Sacca got the same
treatment, he's not neutered and is skinny as a pole.
